..Yea, it was to go on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier… a tradition started by Queen Elizabeth’s mother on her wedding day because she lost a brother [I think it was brother] during the Great War.

I’ve got this story I’m working on for future comic-ing, about a boy that finds out he really likes dressing up as a girl. I’m not super sure where I’m going with it, other than I don’t want it to turn into one of those anime type stories where the cross-dressing is just a gag because it’s going to be more than that. I want it to explore some serious gender…stuff, and I’m hoping that it’s going to be a bit clever when it does, but at the same time I’m just like OH GOD, I’M A CIS-FEMALE WRITING A STORY ABOUT GENDER STUFF, SOMEONE’S GOING TO GET PISSED AT SOMETHING I PUT IN THIS STORY. 

I dunno. 

Maybe when it’s done I’ll ask if any of our more experienced followers want to betaread it for complete asshattery or offensiveness. 

…I think even in the land of tumblr there could be a non cis writing this, and people would still get angry and yell. I know they’d probably freak if they were reading the short fiction writing story I am doing for class.. and I’m non-cis-ish.

…no matter what, if you do that, it’ll probably be lovely and magical.

Um. So I think I just came out as trans* on facebook without meaning to.

Plus side? It was in the middle of a very long, heated debate about Lady Gaga. So I don’t think anyone that doesn’t already know will actually read it. Except maybe my mother, cause I think she reads everything I write on Facebook.

Actually, I am playing Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town while I work on writing/editing my Fiction Writing story…

It’s actually helping me keep my sanity. Write for about 15 minutes, then play about 2 days worth of the game, then go back to the story. After this I may try doing it while I write a rough draft of my column for the last issue of the campus newspaper for the semester.. and then maybe I’ll try doing it while I work on my two research papers.

This may actually work. Pokemon distracts me too much.. but this, this might be the game I need to help keep my sanity and moral up while I work. We shall see.
