Queer as Folk - US... I be watchin' it.
What’s hilarious is that I can attach people who I know and once knew to the characters in the series. And it’s hilarious how well they match up, and how some of them I wish would grow some balls like the characters do.. to a degree that is.

FAQ For Students: Rapture Edition
rosalarian:
liberal-life:

Q: With the rapture coming, should I bother working on my final paper? A: Yes. The odds are you will not be judged worthy of ascent to heaven, in which case your grades will still be a basis of judgment for rewards in...

Finished Book.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best book ever, but that it is a decent read…even if it does make you angry. In my head, to be well informed of...

Um. …I haven’t touched that book (it’s in my college library as well) because it pissed off a great deal of the trans community for invalidating them.
See, I’m about 80 pages in.. but the reason why I think I am enjoying it so much is because it does show were the ideas of babies being gender neutral and all that jazz went wrong...

Currently reading The Man Who Would Be Queen, by J. Michael Bailey.. It’s all about the science of gender-bending and transsexualism. It’s actually, really good.. and surprisingly it was in my college’s library.. which I am raiding all summer long since I live nearby.
It’s the first in a bunch of gender/sexuality books that I plan on reading this summer before school...

Maggie Smith Appreciation Post
I feel like Maggie Smith is has gotten shafted in the series
During the 6th movie, Maggie Smith was suffering from Breast Cancer. She was wearing a wig while filming Half-blood Prince.
Right after filming each scene she had shot, she had to quickly sit back down because she was so tired from the chemotherapy. She was...
