I think the Archbishop of York is suffering from an acute case of special snowflake syndrome.

C was more amused with this part:

“In an interview in the Daily Telegraph, Sentamu said: “I don’t think it is the role of the state to define what marriage is. It is set in tradition and history and you can’t just (change it) overnight, no matter how powerful you are.”

Because the Church of Saint Bastard, I mean England, would never EVER in all its history have anything to do with redefining what marriage can do. Especially not overnight because someone with power said.
